Day 1 : Arrival at Colombo - Negombo
  • Arrive at Colombo Bandaranaike International Airport and then transfer to Negombo which is a famous village for fishing in the northern region of Colombo. This village has a canal built by the Dutch crossing.  You can spot homes and witness many bird species like the magnificent Kingfisher on the stream shores, later spend rest of the day in the hotel at leisure.
  • After having a delicious meal for dinner, have overnight stay at hotel.
Day 2 : Negombo to Kandy
  • After a wonderful breakfast commence your journey to the Munneswaram Temple at Chilaw. This Hindu temple is associated with the legend that after winning in the battle, the prince Lord Rama started for Ayodhya using King Ravana’s carriage. A feeling of guilt engulfed him since in the battle Ravana a Brahmin had been murdered by him. As he was passing Munneswaram he got a feeling that the carriage was vibrating and so he stopped there and prayed to the deity of Shiva for help. Lord Shiva then consecrated Lord Rama and told him to that to get liberation from the dosham  he needed to mount four lingams on that spot and implore. Since then a lot of Hindu devotees have been coming to this temple.
  • After that, advance to Mannavari Temple which was the first lingam installed at this place, later return to the hotel for overnight stay at hotel in Kandy and have a delicious dinner.
Day 3 : Kandy to Nuwara Eliya
  • After breakfast commence your journey to Nuwara Eliya, via a visit to the Sri Baktha Hanuman Temple situated at Ramboda. These are the same hills on which the legend of Hanuman is prevalent. It is said that Hanuman came here in search of Sitadevi, the Goddess of Ramayana. The Chinmaya mission, Sri Lanka built a Hanuman temple here with him as the main deity.
  • Later, check in at the hotel in Nuwara Eliya. In the evening pay a visit to the Gayathri Peedam. It is said to be the place where Meghanath, King Ravana’s son worshipped Lord Shiva with sacrament and performed rituals with penance and was granted boons and supernatural powers by Lord Shiva; Later in the evening, return to hotel and have an appetizing dinner.
Day 4 : Nuwara Eliya to Banderawala
  • After a delicious breakfast proceed to Bandarawela, and on your route visit the Seetha Amman Temple. Folklores say that the stream of water that emerges from the hill is the same that helped Sitadevi heed to her daily needs during her stay at Ashoka Vatika. Currently there is a temple built at this spot for Lord Rama, Lakshmana, Sitama and Hanuman in the side of this brook.
  • Thereafter, go on to visit Divurumpola located in Nuwara Eliya Welimada road. It is said that Sitadevi, after being set free from King Ravana’s imprisonment had to undergo a test to prove her chastity by walking through the fire and she came unharmed which proved her pure holiness.
  •  Later in the evening proceed to check into the hotel at Bandarawela and have dinner.
Day 5 : Banderwala and Katargama
  • After breakfast begin your journey to see Ravana Ella and Ravana Cave. Ravana Ella is a spectacular waterfall. The legend here is that King Ravana used one of the caves over there which is named after him- the Ravana Cave. These caves were used as a speedy way of transport through these hills and also as an undisclosed passage.
  • Later on, proceed to Kataragama, and on your arrival check in at the hotel and in the evening, have a delicious meal for dinner and stay at the hotel for the night.
Day 6 : Katargama and Colombo
  • After having breakfast visit to Kataragama Temple which is a memorial in the far south of the country. The temple is devoted to the God of love and war -God Skanda or Murugan. Kataragama is a holy place of worship for people of Buddhism, Hinduism and some Islamic religion. Later on, proceed to Ussanggoda. According to the story in Ramayana, Lord Hanuman proceeded to test the infamous strength of the potent King Ravana and his army of ‘rakshasas’ after meeting Sitadevi near this place. And in the course of events that followed, Lord Hanuman’s tail was set on fire by the demons. In turn, he went on to ablaze some parts of King Ravana’s empire. Ussanggoda is on one such torched area, legend has it that it was used as an airport by King Ravana.
  • Later on drive to Colombo and on route visit Rumasela, Galle. Make a visit to Seenigama Temple in Hikkaduwa. In Sri Lankan mythology, it is said to be the very place from where King of Vanaras Sugreeva, started his ambush on the forces of King Ravana. Then proceed to Panchamuga Anjaneyar Temple that is devoted to Anjaneyar in Sri Lanka. It is the sole temple in the world that has a chariot of the deity Anjaneyar. Then arrive in Colombo and check into the hotel, have dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 7 : Depart Colombo
  • Start your morning by enjoying the city tour of Colombo. Visit the Galle Face Green which is the perfect place to observe an amazing sun set over the country at dusk. Visit National Museum and Ganagarama Temple; witness old colonial buildings whose architecture is inclined by the mix of Portuguese, Dutch and British cultures and alongside see the structures built in Buddhist, Islamic, Hindu, Indian and modern architectural styles. In case you need to go shopping, you may want pay a visit to the Odel, Beverly Street House of Fashion, Noritake , Majestic City and so on.
  • Later transfer to the Colombo Bandaranaike International Airport to board your flight back to home to end your vacation in Sri Lanka.

Maximum of 3 people can stay in one room

The 3rd person sharing the room is provided with an additional mattress or a rollaway bed

The hotel / Cruise may charge or block the card for deposit against any damages which at the time of check-out is fully refunded to the guests

All transfers and tours are on seat in coach basis

The pricing is computed at current rate of exchange, in case of any increase in rate of exchange the difference will have to be paid

The rights to vary, amend, alter or withdraw any particular itinerary, departure or excursion rests entirely with the company. Due to demand of a particular airline the in/out points may change. Services however, will remain unchanged

Absolutetourism.com will not bear any cancellation charges of domestic air travel, domestic hotel and any other services booked by customer

Any damages caused to the hotel rooms/coach during your stay, shall be borne by the concerned passengers

The company shall not accept any liability or responsibility for any damages, loss of baggage, loss, injury, accident, death, breakdown or irregularity, which may occur in carrying out tour arrangements due to weather conditions, strikes, war, quarantine or any other cause whatsoever and all such loss or expenses must be borne by the passengers

The management reserves the right to claim any additional expenses incurred due to delay or changes in schedules of train, airplane, bus, ship or any other services

There are no refunds for any services i.e. meals, sightseeing, etc. not utilized on your tour

Porter fees at hotels, airports and seaports is not included

In case of unavailability in the listed hotels, arrangement for an alternate accommodation will be made in a hotel of similar standard

Check-in at hotels is 3 PM and check-out is 10 AM

Missed or delayed flights can lead to changes in itinerary and will be at the clients' expense should the case arise

All cancellations are valid only when communicated in writing to AbsoluteTourism.com by registered AD, letter, email and upon confirmation of the same in writing by AbsoluteTourism.com

All payments made according to the payment schedule in section 10 are non-refundable and non-transferable in case of cancellation for whatsoever reason including non-grant of VISA or deportation or for any other reason. In addition, there will be additional cancellation charges as applied by the independent contractors in case this amount exceeds the cancellation charges applied by the AbsoluteTourism.com

For scheduled departure tours, a transfer from one tour to another or a change of departure date before the departure will be treated as cancellation on one tour and rebooking on another and hence will attract the applicable cancellation charges

For FIT tours, in case of amendments to the booking requested by the customer, AbsoluteTourism.com will charge all amendment fees charged by the independent contractors and, from the second amendment onwards, a service fee of 50 USD per person and per amendment

In case of billing errors, AbsoluteTourism.com reserves the right to re-invoice

In case of dishonored cheques, issued by the customer in favor of AbsoluteTourism, the concerned customer has to pay 50 USD /- for every such dishonour and in addition AbsoluteTourism reserves the right to take necessary legal action in respect of dishonoured cheques as may be advised

In case of any amendment in tour by the customer or AbsoluteTourism, AbsoluteTourism.com reserves its rights to charge additional amount as it may deem fit including additional charges for an infant achieving the age of a child or a child exceeding the age of 12. Customer agrees to pay such additional charges and until the same is paid, the AbsoluteTourism.com shall not confirm the travel

The above is a general cancellation policy and the same is subject to change depending on the travel date, the destination like Maldives, Hong Kong etc., the package and the services booked and paid for

For dynamic properties like Marina Bay Sands/Atlantis/Venetian etc. and reconfirmed bookings, the above cancellation may not be applicable and could vary

For air tickets being issued: Full USD component has to be collected before issuance, else price will be subject to change

In case of cruises, 100% of the cruise cost paid will be forfeited in case of any cancellations, irrespective of time of cancellation

The Tour Cost, as detailed in the Website Brochure and as may be revised, if necessary, shall be paid by Customer as follows:

Timeline for Minimum Per Person Payment to be made by the Client Charges
At the time of booking - Interest free non-refundable deposit 10% of total tour cost*
By 25 days from date of departure of the Tour 50% of total tour cost
By 15 days from date of departure of the Tour 100% of the total tour cost

In case of cruises/flight, 100% of the cruise cost to be paid at the time of booking and will be forfeited in case of any cancellations, irrespective of time of cancellation.

When a Cancellation is made Cancellation Charges per person
From booking date up to 25 days from date of departure of the Tour Booking amount + Visa charges + Cruise amount (if applicable)
From 24 to 16 days from date of departure of the Tour 50% of the total Tour cost
15 days or less from date of departure of the Tour 100% of the total Tour cost

If you wish to travel in advance of the departure date as mentioned in the Itinerary or like to come back on a later date after the tour ends, there will be an additional charge that will be applicable (subject to availability of seats for the given dates and ticket validity) which will be advised to you by our sales staff/ travel agent.
